Ouch! Firebug v1.5 causes Firefox 3.5.7 to crash on 64-bit systems. Works OK if you downgrade Firebug to v1.4.
Why, oh why, would Google Chrome and Pidgin use the same proxy settings? Change one and the other changes too!

Sudden proliferation of phone OS’s: iPhone, Android, Windows 7 Phone, Samsung “bada”, Nokia/Intel “MeeGo”. All but one are Linux/unix based.
