Also, I see @feltron was in Beijing the same time we were in 2007. Looking for us in his photo backgrounds. :-)
Just discovered the stunning Feltron Annual Reports (via @romanmars). I like this @feltron guy, he makes me seem a little less crazy.
You know those hip startup companies that have fun coworkers, interesting projects, nice offices and free soda? Well, we have free soda!
Very happy to welcome #IBMA and the World of Bluegrass to Raleigh this year. The whole family had a toe-tappin’ good time!
@ay_o I am trying to mitigate the Shortage Of Developer Talent that Is Crushing Mobile. Thanks for the nice article!
@SpiderOak Been noticing that SO does not deal with 0-byte lock files well, leaves them around after a program finishes and deletes them.
@HiddenBrain recycling small fragments: I always consider the municipal sorting process, which is sometimes manual and tedious.
My billionaire boss won his boat race.
@TheRTP It might be a good idea to mention that RTP180 is NOT tonight.
Intuitively, I would think that the equinoxes would be in mid-autumn & mid-spring, solstices in mid-summer & mid-winter. We lag by 6 weeks.
I’ve always thought of the seasons as cardinal points on our orbit. Since autumn begins with equinox, etc, maybe seasons are more ordinal.
@Philips On 40PFL4908 TV, would be nice if remote vol +/- changed “headphone” (ext speaker) volume. Using headphone vol menu is awkward.
I think I picked a winner.
@BuddyJosh10 Lucky sighting (but BTW, he’s not on Twitter, so no @ needed).
CD player (remember those?) in my car is skipping and sputtering. Wonder if it’s the home-burned CD-R’s or the player? Time for a test.
“There’s no place to park my jet pack… fail!” - @romanmars :-)
After choosing my breakfast this morning, I realized how very Sheldon-like my decision-making process was. #biscuitDay
@TweesTweets Sorry, no. I was looking for a Linux/penguin related name, then I went to bar called Rockhopper’s. Must’ve been destiny.
@TweesTweets Sure, my favorite CP spot is the dance club. Great DJ music! :-)
@Happy1429CP I am not THAT Rockhopper, but I do appreciate CP… and I recently visited Ontario!
@TweesTweets You did. He’s awesome.
@Powerdown3 I especially like the apprentice hat. Plus I like that you use Chrome and not IE.
This has been a much-needed weekend of reflection, absorption, mental digestion and general catching-up.
I wonder why all of the new TVs have monopole stands, even the big ones. Wouldn’t they wobble less with two feet?
@1101010 gum = bug food?
@shawnp0wers Hope you stick to your blog. Don’t know how many times I’ve channeled my inner Shawn for bulk emails to our LUG.
On a walk, I tried to fling my stale chewing gum into the bushes, but it stuck to my fingers, and instead it beaned my friend in the head!
The last few weeks have been the most tweet-worthy in recent history, but sadly either the timing was wrong or my net access was limited.
@GrizzlyGuru They have timed it just right so I can START reading a “new” tweet at the top just as it disappears.
Wondering why when I click ‘Home’ on Twitter, it redraws the page, waits for me to start reading, then stuffs a few more tweets in.
@RangerRick Wondering about this Fox meme, came up at Y-Guides camp this weekend, is it bigger than that?
The Thunder and Lightning Bugs scored this sweet lodge for our weekend at Rockmont! pic.twitter.com/55l6PZkHCk
OK, I am back on American time. I’m ready to go do great things! But I think I’ll go to work instead. ;-)
Beijing gets dark early, maybe 6:30. I think it’s because the China time zone is so wide and Beijing is on the Eastern side.
