Now I see that my ipod upgrade issues were self-inflicted. Note to self: check hosts file.

Tried to use iCloud to copy contacts from iPod to iPad. Ended up using “bump” app to send them over bluetooth.

Aw, poo. Tried to upgrade 3rd-gen ipod touch to iOS5, kept failing, something about can’t restore to this model.
